Stain Removal Guide

Act quickly — the sooner you treat a stain, the better the result. Always test any treatment on a small, inconspicuous area first.

Water Marks

Dampen the entire surface lightly with a clean, damp cloth to create an even moisture level, then allow to dry naturally. Once dry, condition with leather cream.

Oil and Grease

Blot immediately with a clean cloth — do not rub. Apply a small amount of cornstarch or talcum powder to absorb the oil, leave for several hours, then brush away gently. Condition afterwards.

Ink

Ink stains are difficult to remove completely. Blot immediately with a clean cloth. A specialist leather cleaner may help with fresh stains. For dried ink, consult a professional leather care specialist.

Food and Beverage

Blot immediately with a clean, dry cloth. For residue, use a slightly damp cloth with a small amount of mild soap, then wipe clean with a damp cloth and allow to dry naturally. Condition once dry.
